In Chukai, Terengganu, the town can only receive the radio stations from Bukit Pelindung, Kuantan, meanwhile Terengganu FM is on 90.7MHz from Bukit Kemuning where is located in Kijal.
On 30th August 2022, alongside Bukit Pelindung radio stations, I could receive weak signal of IKIM FM 102.7MHz from Gunung Telapak Buruk in Chukai, Terengganu.
I detected IKIM FM 102.7MHz Gunung Telapak Buruk signal at Taman Geliga in Chukai, Terengganu while I was heading to Kuantan. Then, I went to purchase Keropok Lekor there.
It is unbelievable that Gunung Telapak Buruk transmitted radio station signal can be detected in Chukai, Terengganu, but IKIM FM 102.7MHz from Gunung Telapak Buruk is the furthest radio station that I tuned there in terms of receiving distance.
In Chukai, IKIM FM can be tuned clearly on the frequency FM 89.6MHz from Bukit Pelindung, Kuantan, Pahang.
