THR Raaga is partly available in Kuala Rompin, Pahang on the frequencies either FM 99.3MHz (Gunung Ulu Kali) or FM 99.7MHz (Gunung Ledang)

I had already realized that Raaga is unavailable of its Kuantan frequency due to its broadcast license condition where Raaga and Gegar share with only a license as result both are borned from Time Highway Radio THR FM.

From 28th August 2022 to 31st August 2022, I went to Kuantan and East Pahang for my personal holiday vacation, then I conducted the distant FM radio frequency check aka DXing. 

I monitored THR Raaga signal in several areas in Pahang such as Kuantan, Maran, Gambang, Pekan and Kuala Rompin.

Kuala Rompin is one of my targeting location to check its signal. As THR Raaga can be tuned partially in Kuantan on 99.3MHz from Gunung Ulu Kali, Pekan can actually receive this Tamil radio station on the same frequency.

In Kuala Rompin, due to geographical condition, I planned to check its Johor Bahru frequency FM 103.7MHz from Gunung Pulai, however the signal was not detected there. Surprisingly, I could tune to THR Raaga in Kuala Rompin, Pahang on two frequencies which are for west coast states in Peninsular Malaysia such as:

* FM 99.3MHz Gunung Ulu Kali (200km)

* FM 99.7MHz Gunung Ledang (108km)

Frequencies signal monitoring was conducted in Kuala Rompin town. 

 

Both frequencies 99.3 and 99.7 are not so clear in Kuala Rompin actually, so the listeners who would like to listen to Raaga via FM radio transmission platform need to tune 99.3 and 99.7 in vice-versa condition.

FM 101.5MHz Gunung Telapak Buruk is not receivable in Kuala Rompin, meanwhile FM 103.7MHz Gunung Pulai is an adjacent frequency of Era FM 103.6MHz Gunung Telapak Buruk there.
