[MINOR TOPIC] Best Thai restaurant in Seri Kembangan, Selangor, Malaysia. Little Hadyai!

Sawadeekrap (สวัสดีครับ)!!!

For the whole February 2020, I already published a lot of blog articles regarding my listening and receiving experience of Thailand FM radio stations in Malaysia, Betong International Airport topic and some radio frequency study about Thailand radio stations (bordering area with Malaysia).

I begin to like about Thai culture from a little bit to more since March 2014. From Thailand radio, to Thai music, then Thai food.

Now, I may break my rules of my blog content, but I create a minor topic on Philip DXing Log. I would like to introduce the best Thai restaurant in Seri Kembangan, Selangor, Malaysia. It is Little Hadyai, where launched on October 2019.

Little Hadyai restaurant delivers the best and delicious Thai food in Seri Kembangan, Selangor (20km from Kuala Lumpur). As the brand name called Little Hadyai, for those people would like to eat Thai food, let's eat at Little Hadyai.
The chefs and most of crews are coming from Thailand. For your information, this restaurant is non-Halal premise.

My very first visit at Little Hadyai was 16th October 2019, first food was bolognese minced pork rice. This restaurant delivers the authentic Thai food ever.

Next, there is also my super favorite Thai rice menu at Little Hadyai. It is Phat kaphrao (Thai basil leaf minced pork rice with egg), that food is super tasty.

Phat Krapao

Apart from the Phat Krapao, the Thai green milk tea is nice too.

Tom Yum Muu (Pork Tom Yam noodle) is also delicious too.

Tom Yam Muu

Two fried rice that I have eaten before at Little Hadyai are:

1. Pineapple Fried Rice
2. Thai Green curry seafood fried rice

RF analysis: FM 95.75MHz Yala vs. Betong

FM 95.75MHz actually is a vacant radio frequency in Yala province, Thailand.

Yala has three transmission site, first is Khao Pok Yo, second is Tambon Sateng and third is Betong. In Thailand FM spectrum allocation system, FM 95.75MHz is CH34.

Talking about the usage of FM 95.75MHz in Yala province, let's analyze both main locations.

==Khao Pok Yo (Yala)==

95.75MHz: Yala, Thailand (Khao Pok Yo)
96.0MHz: MCOT Narathiwat
<250kHz, OK>

95.5MHz: วิทยุท้องถิ่นไทยวิถีไทย Yala, Thailand (Tambon Sateng)
95.75MHz: Yala, Thailand (Khao Pok Yo)
<250kHz, not ok>

95.5MHz: Radio Klasik Bukit Bakar
95.75MHz: Yala, Thailand (Khao Pok Yo)
<250kHz, OK>

95.7MHz: Mutiara FM Bukit Penara
95.75MHz: Yala, Thailand (Khao Pok Yo)
<50kHz, OK>

==Betong==

95.75MHz: Betong, Thailand
96.0MHz: MCOT Narathiwat
<250kHz, OK>

95.5MHz: วิทยุท้องถิ่นไทยวิถีไทย Yala, Thailand (Tambon Sateng)
95.75MHz: Betong, Thailand
<250kHz, OK>

95.5MHz: Radio Klasik Bukit Bakar
95.75MHz: Betong, Thailand
<250kHz, OK>

95.7MHz: Mutiara FM Bukit Penara
95.75MHz: Betong, Thailand
<50kHz, OK>

95.6MHz: Perak FM Gunung Kledang
95.75MHz: Betong, Thailand
<150kHz, OK>

In conclusion, FM 95.75MHz is more suitable to be used in Betong than Yala (Khao Pok Yo) because FM 95.75MHz Khao Pokyo is too close with existing FM 95.5MHz Tambon Sateng. In addition, the coverage of Yala FM (Khao Pok Yo) is much wider than Betong.

Besides that, FM 95.75MHz Betong transmission will not interfere to Mutiara FM 95.7MHz Bukit Penara coverage in Penang. Interference may just happen in Baling, Kedah, Malaysia where are not both station broadcast area.

CityPlus FM 106.0MHz Gunung Telapak Burok received in Perak.

Malaysia Chinese business radio station CityPlus FM 106.0MHz could be heard in Negeri Sembilan, Central Pahang, Northwest Melaka, Northeast Johor (Batu Anam), part of Selangor/Kuala Lumpur from Gunung Telapak Burok, Negeri Sembilan.

Surprisingly CityPlus FM 106.0MHz also can be received in some Perak areas. From Kuala Lumpur to Ipoh, CityPlus FM 106.0MHz can be only received up to Slim River, BUT it was receivable in Teluk Intan (Matang Guntong), Sitiawan costal area and Lekir Batu 10 when RTM Ai FM 106.1MHz from Bukit Larut is not receivable.

The distance from Gunung Telapak Burok to these three locations are about 185km-215km.

In most of Teluk Intan areas, CityPlus FM 106.0MHz is not receivable because there is Ai FM 106.1MHz from Bukit Larut. Part of Teluk Intan areas where can receive CityPlus FM 106.0MHz from Gunung Telapak Burok mostly happen during tropospheric propagation. From my receiving experience, I received CityPlus FM in Sitiawan, Lekir and part of Teluk Intan in the morning, but no signal in the afternoon and evening. So, it is classified as tropospheric propagation in the morning.

Teluk Intan area that I received CityPlus FM was Kampung Matang Guntong where located Sitiawan road, I received it when I was going to Sitiawan.

Matang Guntong in Teluk Intan cannot receive Bukit Larut radio stations, so Seremban stations can be overspilled there easily.

Apart from CityPlus FM 106.0MHz, RTM Ai FM 89.7MHz and Traxx FM 88.7MHz were receivable in Lekir, Matang Guntong and some Sitiawan areas too.

In Sitiawan costal area (Tua Pek Kung temple), it is my first time that I received CityPlus FM 106.0MHz there after several attempts in the past few years. It is quite difficult to receive CityPlus FM 106.0MHz there as it is overlapped by Ai FM 106.1MHz Bukit Larut, I received in very stationary condition by moving nothing. Otherwise, FM 106.0MHz would be locked by Ai FM.

Traxx FM 88.7MHz Gunung Telapak Burok overlapped Radio Klasik FM 88.7MHz Changkat Rembian in Teluk Intan, Sitiawan and Lekir too.

Receiving Thailand radio stations in Langkawi, Malaysia: Phuket was the furthest one that I captured in Langkawi.

Back to July 2018, I had holiday trip in Langkawi, Malaysia with family for 3 days 2 nights. In Langkawi, apart from Malaysia radio stations, transmitted in Gunung Raya such as Hitz FM 92.4MHz, MY FM 100.1MHz, Era FM 90.7MHz, Raaga FM 101.9MHz, Langkawi FM 104.8MHz and Kedah FM 105.7MHz, part of Langkawi could get too from Gunung Jerai, but weak receiving condition.

In addition, as Langkawi is near to Thailand border, the island can receive Thailand radio stations from Satun province. In Langkawi, I received Radio Thailand Satun (FM 95.5MHz & FM 99.5MHz), MCOT Satun FM 93.25MHz and 94PFM We Love Satun FM 94.0MHz.

Other than Satun, few distant Thailand radio stations from Songkhla, Yala, Phatthalung and Trang could be received in Langkawi, but weaker signal.

Yala or Trang is not furthest Thailand radio station where received in Langkawi, BUT Phuket is the furthest Thailand FM radio station that I received in Langkawi.

At the top peak of Gunung Raya, more Thailand radio stations can be received there due to high elevations. MCOT Phuket FM 101.5MHz that I received in Langkawi was the furthest Thailand radio station, the distance was 232km, following by MCOT Nakhom Si Thammarat FM 104.5MHz with 216km distance where received in Cenang Beach.

Here are the Thailand radio stations locations that I received in Langkawi, from furthest to nearest.

Phuket>>Nakhon Si Thammarat>>Yala>>Phatthalung>>Trang>>Songkhla
>>Satun
