If Molek FM has no plan to reach Pahang by launching frequencies in Kuantan, Molek FM is recommended to launch 1 more transmitter for Southern Terengganu, either Bukit Bauk or Bukit Kemuning site.

It is getting nearer of Molek FM hits Malaysia airwaves. More teaser video of Molek FM are going to be revealed soon.

I watch the teaser video. It shows the existing tuning frequencies FM 105.1MHz Kota Bharu and FM 93.6MHz Kuala Terengganu, the graphic shows only two states famous culture.

Penyu (turtle) represents Terengganu, meanwhile Wau (Kelantanese kite) is Kelantan.

No Pahang famous element graphic is spotted yet.

I doubt if Molek FM will expand coverage in Pahang (Kuantan) or not in the future. In my opinion, if Molek FM has no plan to reach its coverage Pahang as it focuses mainly in Kelantan and Terengganu, actually Molek FM should launch 1 more transmitter for Southern Terengganu, either Bukit Bauk (Dungun) or Bukit Kemuning (Kijal) site.

Currently Molek FM Kuala Terengganu frequency FM 93.6MHz is transmitted from Bukit Besar, so the coverage of Molek FM is not wide like the competitor (Gegar FM 106.8MHz and Manis FM 102.0MHz) in Terengganu.

Gegar FM 106.8MHz and Manis FM 102.0MHz are transmitted from Bukit Jerung in Marang, Terengganu, the coverage of Bukit Jerung is wider, the coverage can reach until Dungun and Besut where Bukit Besar can't reach.

Here are the sample coverage map between Bukit Bauk and Bukit Kemuning.

1. Bukit Bauk (2kW)

 2. Bukit Kemuning (2kW)

In terms of coverage, Bukit Bauk is wider than Bukit Kemuning actually.

From the coverage map, Bukit Bauk signal can be received from Marang, Terengganu to Beserah, Pahang, meanwhile Bukit Kemuning signal is available from North Kuantan, Pahang till Dungun, Terengganu.

Excluding Pahang state, Bukit Bauk is more ideal to Molek FM when cover Southern Terengganu region. Media Prima's flagship TV channel, TV3 and TV9 were used to have Bukit Bauk transmitter during analogue TV era.

TV3 had no analogue TV transmitter in Bukit Kemuning.

Bukit Bauk transmitter tower has only 6 RTM radio stations so far, meanwhile Bukit Kemuning has only 1 RTM radio station (Terengganu FM 90.7MHz) which is low power repeater.

I come out this suggestion because I realize Dungun and Kemaman cannot receive Molek FM 93.6MHz from Kuala Terengganu (Bukit Besar).

If Molek FM launches Dungun frequency, it can reach almost all Terengganu areas.

Bukit Bauk has many empty frequencies slots actually, more than Bukit Pelindung from Kuantan.
