Since December 2021, the Palau Island transmitted Christianity radio station T8WH Hope Radio begins its Angel 3 test transmission on SW 9930kHz daily, from 1100H to 1200H (UTC).
Hope Radio is focusing mostly Asia region by preaching the gospel.
Before Hope Radio launching test transmission of Angel 3, it broadcasts on every Sunday via Angel 4 (SW 15680kHz) and Angel 5 (SW 9965kHz), however there are different targeting region between Angel 4 and Angel 5.
Angel 4 covers ASEAN, India, Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Taiwan and South China, meanwhile Angel 5 covers Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, East China, Papua New Guinea and part of Mongolia.
The test transmission of Angel 3 frequency SW 9930kHz covers Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Singapore, Bangladesh, China, Taiwan, North Korea, South Korea, Mongolia, Papua New Guinea, Nepal and part of Indonesia.
In terms of coverage, it seems T8WH Hope Radio Angel 3 is wider than Angel 4 and 5.
Transmission site of Angel 3 SW 9930kHz is same, located in Palau Island as Angel 4 and 5.
I record Hope Radio Angel 3 SW 9930kHz test transmission in Malaysia, the reception quality is clear as Angel 4 SW 15680kHz, but much clearer than Angel 5 SW 9965kHz.
Receive in Balakong, Selangor state on 16th December 2021, at approximately 1912 hours (UTC+8)/1112 hours (UTC).
Distance from Medorn, Palau Island to my QTH is 3658km.
