GoXUAN FM 107.6MHz from Bukit Penara, Penang received in Teluk Intan, Perak, the only Penang transmitted radio station available there.

During these 15 years of monitoring distant signal of FM radio stations, and I have been in Teluk Intan annually for more than 20 years, I was not used to record any video of receiving Penang transmitted radio station from Bukit Penara in Teluk Intan, Perak yet.

Back to November 2007, I received Fly FM 89.9MHz from Bukit Penara in Teluk Intan by tuning in the car, but I never recorded the signal because I did not have mobile phone, even YouTube channel. During that time, Fly FM 89.9MHz was receivable weakly with interference with Traxx FM 90.1MHz from Gunung Kledang, it happened a year before launching of BFM 89.9 in Greater Klang Valley.

Since BFM 89.9 hit airwaves since September 2008, Fly FM Penang frequency 89.9MHz from Bukit Penara is no longer receivable in Teluk Intan, Perak.

After 15 years from my last Bukit Penara FM DX in Teluk Intan, now I receive GoXUAN FM 107.6MHz in Teluk Intan as latest FM DXing video for 2022.

From 2007 to 2020, I performed FM DXing in Teluk Intan by receiving the transmitters below:

3. Gunung Brinchang, Pahang (since 2009)

4. Changkat Rembian, Tapah, Perak (since 2009)

5. Bukit Asa, Selangor (2019)

6. Felda Terolak Timur, Perak (2019)

7. Ulu Slim, Perak (2020)

8. Gunung Telapak Burok, Negeri Sembilan (2014, 2019, 2020)

9. Kuala Lumpur Tower (2019 & 2020)

10. Sei Rampah, Indonesia (2015, 2019)

11. Khao Pok Yo, Yala, Thailand (2020)

12. Satun, Thailand (2020)

Bukit Penara is the latest transmitter site for my activity of FM DX in Teluk Intan, Perak with GoXUAN FM 107.6MHz.

Before launching of GoXUAN in 2017, its frequencies FM 88.9MHz (Klang Valley) and FM 107.6MHz (Penang) were formerly carried by Capital FM until September 2016. Then, Capital FM was acquired by Astro, together with Red FM.

GoXUAN FM 107.6MHz is the only Bukit Penara transmitted radio station which I receive in Teluk Intan, Perak, while rest of Bukit Penara radio stations are totally not receivable because their frequencies are used by other radio stations (from Gunung Ulu Kali and Gunung Kledang).

I record GoXUAN FM 107.6MHz signal in Teluk Intan at outdoor and indoor. For outdoor, I receive in the car on Nissan Almera N17 radio receiver (Clarion CY23G), meanwhile for indoor, I receive at 1st floor of my uncle's home via TECSUN PL-380.
