The Indonesia public broadcaster TVRI had completed its transmission tower construction in Rokan Hilir, Riau, Indonesia last month and test transmission of DVB-T2 digital terrestrial TV service was rolled out. Then, TVRI officially launches its DVB-T2 transmission in Rokan Hilir, Riau Province, Indonesia.
From November 2022, TVRI can be accessed in Rokan Hilir. Before this, none of Indonesia terrestrial TV channels can be accessed in Rokan Hilir, however Malaysia TV and radio stations can be received clearly there via overspill signal.
The assigned frequency of TVRI in Rokan Hilir is UHF 626MHz (CH40).
In Malaysia, coastal areas like Sepang, Sungai Pelek, Kuala Langat, Port Dickson and Tanjung Sepat may be able to receive TVRI signal from Rokan Hilir on UHF 626MHz (CH40) if UHF outdoor antenna is pointing to southwest direction with antenna booster.
If I own a portable DVB-T2 receiver, I can DX TVRI signal from Rokan Hilir in Sepang, Morib, Banting, Kuala Langat, Tanjung Sepat, Port Dickson and Sungai Pelek when there is a chance to do so.
