Gunung Pulai and Gunung Ledang radio signal reception in Jemaluang, Johor.

Jemaluang is a small town located in Mersing District, Johor. Same with Mersing and Endau, but unlike other locations in Johor, only 7 radio stations are clearly available in Jemaluang, transmitted from Bukit Tinggi transmitter.

1. RTM Radio Klasik FM 90.1MHz

2. RTM Nasional FM 90.9MHz

3. RTM Johor FM 92.1MHz

4. RTM Traxx FM 92.9MHz

5. RTM Ai FM 89.1MHz

6. RTM Minnal FM 88.3MHz

7. Best FM 102.5MHz

Gunung Pulai and Gunung Ledang transmitted radio stations can be received weakly in Jemaluang, Johor.

Rafiq managed to tune radio stations from Gunung Pulai and Gunung Ledang in Jemaluang, Johor in early of May 2026, meanwhile I was used to tune IKIM FM 106.2MHz and MY FM 95.4MHz from Gunung Pulai in same location 2 years ago before departing to Tioman Island, but I didn't manage to tune Gunung Ledang radio stations in Jemaluang as I heavily focused to monitor Singapore and Batam radio stations.

Here are the videos of tuning Gunung Pulai and Gunung Ledang transmitted radio stations by Rafiq.

1. Kool FM 88.1MHz Gunung Ledang (141km)

2. Fly FM 94.0MHz Gunung Ledang (141km)

3. RTM Asyik FM 95.6MHz Gunung Ledang (152km)

Video was recorded at Felda Tenggaroh 2.

4. 988 FM 98.2MHz Gunung Ledang (141km) & 99.9MHz Gunung Pulai (74km)

5. IKIM FM 89.5MHz Gunung Ledang (141km) & 106.2MHz Gunung Pulai (74km)

6. Hot FM 104.3MHz Gunung Ledang (141km)

7. Best FM 94.8MHz Gunung Ledang (141km)

8. RTM Radio Klasik FM 93.6MHz Gunung Ledang (141km)

All videos were recorded at Jemaluang Dairy Valley, except RTM Asyik FM 95.6MHz.

In Jemaluang, Gunung Pulai radio signal is clearer than Gunung Ledang for 988 and IKIM FM, but Radio Klasik FM 93.6MHz and Nasional FM 96.6MHz are the clearest Gunung Ledang radio station, following by Kool FM 88.1MHz, Fly FM 94.0MHz and RTM Asyik FM 95.6MHz.

On 28th April 2024, I was used to receive IKIM FM 106.2MHz and MY FM 95.4MHz from Gunung Pulai in Jemaluang town, Johor before going to Pulau Tioman in Pahang, the signal was weak.

* MY FM 95.4MHz

* IKIM FM 106.2MHz

In addition, Rafiq recorded the frequency comparison videos of RTM Nasional FM and Johor FM in Jemaluang.

* Nasional FM 96.6MHz Gunung Ledang/105.7MHz Gunung Pulai/90.9MHz Bukit Tinggi

* Johor FM 101.9MHz Gunung Pulai/92.1MHz Bukit Tinggi

Alongside Gunung Pulai and Gunung Ledang radio stations, Rafiq also successfully received RTM Minnal FM 96.3MHz from Gunung Ulu Kali transmitter in Jemaluang, Johor. Hence, Minnal FM 96.3MHz from Gunung Ulu Kali becomes the furthest radio station tuned in Jemaluang, Johor with 283km (video was recorded at Felda Tenggaroh 2).
