When I paid a visit in Sarawak such as Sibu, Mukah, Sarikei, Sri Aman, Betong and more last year in May 2026, I only managed to receive RTM Wai FM Iban 101.3MHz and Wai FM Bidayuh/Kayan 106.1MHz in several locations of Sarawak, covering Simanggang (Sri Aman), Engkilli, Betong, Spaoh, Debak, Saratok, Roban and Sarikei, but I never received these two radio stations in Sibu, Sarawak because it was impossible of me to tune them due to adjacent channel interference from two Bukit Lima transmitted radio stations such as Sarawak FM 101.5MHz and MY FM 105.9MHz.
Today on 17th October 2026, my friend (YouTube: Kenyalang DXer) receives RTM Wai FM Iban 101.3MHz and Wai FM Bidayuh/Kayan 106.1MHz from Gunung Serapi transmitter in Sibu, Sarawak.

Videos are recorded at Waterfront Residence in Sibu, Sarawak where is near Igan River (before Rajang River).
According to the videos above, the signal of both radio stations are weak in Sibu, Sarawak, however RTM Wai FM Bidayuh/Kayan 106.1MHz is slightly stronger than RTM Wai FM Iban 101.3MHz.

As Wai FM Iban 101.3MHz and Wai FM Bidayuh/Kayan 106.1MHz are just 200kHz away from RTM Sarawak FM 101.5MHz and MY FM 105.9MHz respectively, hence the listeners would hear adjacent channel interference noise in Sibu, Sarawak.
I acknowledge that RTM Sibu FM does not broadcast Wai FM Iban from 9am to 12pm in favour of local Malay program and 1 hour Malay program from 6pm to 7pm during Muslim's Ramadan month, it is not recommended to tune RTM Wai FM Iban in Sibu, Sarawak via 101.3MHz from Gunung Serapi due to adjacent channel interference from RTM Sarawak FM 101.5MHz Bukit Lima transmitter, hence its listeners in Sibu have to tune these Iban programs via MYTV (CH710), Astro (CH871) or RTM Klik.
Receiving distance from Gunung Serapi to Waterfront Residence in Sibu, Sarawak is 196km. Hence, RTM Wai FM Iban 101.3MHz and Wai FM Bidayuh/Kayan FM 106.1MHz are the furthest radio stations tuned in Sibu, Sarawak, but weak radio reception.
Congratulations to Kenyalang DXer for receiving RTM Wai FM Iban 101.3MHz and Wai FM Bidayuh/Kayan 106.1MHz successfully in Sibu, Sarawak.
