The clandestine shortwave radio station for Iran, namely Radio Farda can be received in Malaysia.
In March 2026, I manage to tune Radio Farda on various shortwave frequencies in Balakong, Selangor where is not far from Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.
* SW 21600kHz (from Philippines)
* SW 17840kHz (from Philippines)
* SW 9365kHz (from Kuwait)
* SW 11575kHz (from Kuwait)
* SW 7470kHz (from Kuwait)
Radio Farda shortwave frequencies from Philippines are loud and clear in Malaysia, compare to Kuwait transmitted frequencies.
The transmitter sites of Radio Farda are located in Philippines (Tinang) and Kuwait (Sulaibiyah) where the shortwave transmission facility is belonged to USAGM (U.S. Agency for Global Media) which also operates Voice of America (VOA).

Among all frequencies that I tuned, SW 21600kHz is the clearest in Malaysia, following by SW 17840kHz and SW 11575kHz.
