Hot FM, Kool FM and Molek FM from Media Prima Audio will cease broadcast on MYTV, effective 1st March 2026.

MYTV Broadcasting announces that Media Prima Audio radio stations (Hot FM, Kool FM and Molek FM) will be no longer available on MYTV digital terrestrial television platform, effective 1st March 2026.

Hot FM, Kool FM and Molek FM will cease broadcast on MYTV today at 2359 hours.

Before Hot FM, Kool FM and Molek FM leave MYTV, actually Eight FM and Fly FM ceased broadcast on MYTV early.

After Hot FM, Kool FM and Molek FM switched off their broadcast on MYTV, their listeners can tune alternatively on Audio+ app, YouTube LIVE streaming or radio frequencies platform.

This is caused by low listenership performance of tuning MPA radio stations on MYTV, so MPA decides to leave MYTV for its radio stations. It is very expensive to broadcast on MYTV digital terrestrial television, the broadcasters have to pay the transmission fees millions annually, certain broadcasters cannot survive when there is no commercial revenue and audiences.

Starting from March 2026, all Media Prima radio stations will leave MYTV digital terrestrial television platform entirely. Hence, MYTV radio stations only remain RTM and Bernama Radio, previously standalone radio station Manis FM left MYTV.
