Last year in January 2024, I went to Shah Alam, Selangor, I managed to receive various radio stations from Gunung Ledang there, they were the furthest radio stations tuned in Shah Alam, Selangor.
Today on 9th November 2025, I go to Shah Alam for special event. Initially I just make random radio aircheck videos in Shah Alam, Selangor, namely CityPlus FM 106.0MHz and Pahang FM 107.5MHz.
Surprisingly, I receive a clear radio signal of Perak FM on the frequency 95.6MHz from Gunung Kledang transmitter at Seksyen 14 in Shah Alam, Selangor.
At Seksyen 14 in Shah Alam, Selangor near PKNS Shah Alam building, Perak FM 95.6MHz Gunung Kledang transmitter has clear signal, my car radio receiver display shows the RDS PS text when I tune Perak FM 95.6MHz.
Perak FM 95.6MHz becomes weak and almost gives no signal when I leave Seksyen 14 while I'm heading to Seksyen 7. Then, I can hear the adjacent channel noise from Fly FM 95.8MHz Gunung Ulu Kali transmitter.
In terms of distance, RTM Perak FM 95.6MHz from Gunung Kledang transmitter becomes the furthest radio station that I tune in Shah Alam with 178km distance.
