RTM Labuan FM can relay Sabah FM during non-broadcasting hours from 7pm to 6am, instead of Nasional FM to reduce broadcast duplication.

 

RTM Labuan FM broadcasts 12 hours daily from 6am to 7pm, then it relays Nasional FM from 7pm to 6am.

In Labuan, RTM Nasional FM is available 24 hours daily through the frequencies FM 88.5MHz from Bukit Timbalai and FM 96.5MHz from Bukit Tampalagus.

Since there is already Nasional FM 88.5MHz/96.5MHz in Labuan, actually RTM Labuan FM can discontinue the relay of Nasional FM from 7pm to 6am.

For the non-broadcasting hours of Labuan FM, I highly suggest to relay RTM Sabah FM from 7pm to 6am because Labuan and Sabah are geographically related.

 

Although Sabah FM has no Labuan frequency because Labuan is under Federal Territory, but it is still available in Labuan via FM 97.9MHz from Bukit Tampalagus.

 

By relaying Sabah FM on Labuan FM during non-broadcasting hours, at least RTM can reduce broadcast duplication between Labuan FM and Nasional FM because Labuan has Nasional FM on 88.5MHz.
