FM 97.5MHz radio station signal is active in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia, but no audio is carried. From Thailand or Malaysia?

Based on this video, FM 97.5MHz signal is detected in Kota Bharu,  Kelantan, Malaysia, but no audio is carried.

In addition, FM 97.5MHz is appeared its RDS information with "TEST RDS".

Regarding FM 97.5MHz unknown radio station detected in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia, I strongly believe it is a Thailand radio station testing the frequency, instead of Malaysia radio station.

If I say that FM 97.5MHz is belonged to Malaysia radio station, it will cause interference to Kelantan FM 97.3MHz Bukit Bakar coverage as FM 97.3MHz covers most of Kelantan areas including Kota Bharu.

==RF analysis of FM 97.5MHz if the frequency is belonged to Malaysia==

97.3MHz: Kelantan FM Bukit Bakar
97.5MHz: Telipot
<200kHz, not ok>

97.5MHz: Telipot
97.5MHz: Sinar FM Bukit Besar
<0kHz, not ok. Minimum is 100kHz>

97.5MHz: Telipot
97.8MHz: Ai FM Bukit Bintang
<300kHz, OK>

Above the RF analysis, FM 97.5MHz is not belonged to Malaysia, but this frequency can be belonged to Thailand radio station. In Kota Bharu, Thailand radio stations there are received from multiple transmitter site, such as:

1. Sungai Golok แม่น้ำโก-ลก
2. Narathiwat นราธิวาส
3. Tak Bai ตากใบ
4. Yala ยะลา (Khao Pokyo)
5. Sungai Padi สุไหงปาดี

In Yala province, there is also a radio station using FM 97.5MHz, named 97.5 Modern Hit Peace FM, but this radio station is transmitted in Amphoe Mueang Yala (Tambon Sateng) where is capital of Yala province, instead of public radio stations' Khao Pokyo transmitter site. As 975 Peace FM is transmitted from Tambon Sateng, Yala province, Thailand, therefore it is impossible to be received in Kota Bharu, Malaysia.

Now we have ignored Yala as possibility of FM 97.5MHz transmitter site.

Next, we go for next RF analysis between Kelantan FM 97.3MHz Bukit Bakar and Thailand Narathiwat transmission sites.

1. Sungai Golok

97.3MHz: Kelantan FM Bukit Bakar
97.5MHz: Sungai Golok, Thailand
<200kHz>

2.  Sungai Padi

97.3MHz: Kelantan FM Bukit Bakar
97.5MHz: Sungai Padi, Thailand
<200kHz>

3. Narathiwat

97.3MHz: Kelantan FM Bukit Bakar
97.5MHz: Narathiwat, Thailand
<200kHz>

4. Tak Bai

97.3MHz: Kelantan FM Bukit Bakar
97.5MHz: Tak Bai, Thailand
<200kHz>

FM 97.5MHz has some static in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. The biggest possibility is a radio station testing transmission in Amphoe Mueang Narathiwat on FM 97.5MHz.

Tak Bai, Sungai Golok and Sungai Padi FM radio receptions in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia are clear without static.

If I compare with one existing radio frequency study between Bukit Bakar and Narathiwat, there has 200kHz frequency separation between both stations.

99.1MHz: Satthanii Witthayu 912 Narathiwat (สถานีวิทยุ 912)
99.3MHz: Ai FM Bukit Bakar
<200kHz>

Satthanii Witthayu 912 Narathiwat former frequency was FM 99.25MHz, but due to interference with Ai FM Bukit Bakar 99.3MHz, so it changed to FM 99.1MHz.

In addition, Radio Thailand Narathiwat FM 98.25MHz has 250kHz frequency separation from Traxx FM 98.5MHz Bukit Bakar, and it has no problem for interference. Then,
Siang Phan Fa Narathiwat {เสียงผ่านฟ้านราธิวาส} FM 96.75MHz has 250kHz separation from Nasional FM 96.5MHz Bukit Bakar too.

About FM 97.5MHz unknown transmission in Kota Bharu, Malaysia, Narathiwat is the biggest possibility of transmission site for the frequency. For the radio station's content, we don't know yet because FM 97.5MHz does not officially hit its airwaves yet.

Another new FM DXing record in Malaysia: A Vietnam FM radio station on FM 93.1MHz is received in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia

As we notice that North Kelantan (Kota Bharu) can receive many Thailand radio stations from Yala (Khao Pokyo), Sungai Golok, Sungai Padi, Tak Bai and Narathiwat, meanwhile the furthest Thailand radio station that can be received in Kota Bharu is from Pattani.

Break the records.

The FM radio reception for this time is beyond Thailand radio station in Kota Bharu. Kelantan YouTuber Senn Lens receives a Vietnam FM radio station in Kota Bharu and Pasir Mas, Kelantan, Malaysia in the car, frequency is FM 93.1MHz.

Usually I only can receive Vietnam radio stations in Malaysia on AM/MW (mediumwave) or SW (shortwave) after evening. In the past, I was used to receive Voice of Vietnam AM stations in Malaysia such as VOV-1 711kHz, VOV-2 783kHz, VOV-4 873kHz and VOV-6 1242kHz from Can Tho, Vietnam.

It is very strange when Vietnam FM radio station can be received in Malaysia (Kota Bharu, Kelantan) because FM radio station propagation is limited to maximum 130 to 200km usually.

According to these videos, I check Vietnam radio stations database which assign on the frequency FM 93.1MHz, the nearest station is An Giang Radio and Television aka ATV FM 93.1MHz from An Giang Radio and Televison transmitter tower, Vietnam (62km from Can Tho).

An Giang Radio and Television

An Giang is located in southern Vietnam, not far from Cambodia border and South China Sea.

Technically, there is no any terrains between An Giang, Vietnam and Kota Bharu, Malaysia, therefore An Giang Radio FM 93.1MHz from An Giang, Vietnam can be received in Kota Bharu and Pasir Pekan, Kelantan, Malaysia.

==Distance of An Giang Radio FM 93.1MHz to Malaysia==

1. Kota Bharu: 592km
2. Pasir Pekan: 592km

==SINPO code==
1. Kota Bharu: 35333
2. Pasir Pekan: 23422

RF analysis: Can FM 102.75MHz be used for community radio station in Satun, Thailand?

Few years ago, there was a now defunct Thailand radio station in Satun, Idea Radio operated on 102.5MHz (later 102.6MHz). As Thailand standard FM frequency allocation is 250kHz per channel from 87.5 to 108.0, but this was second frequency allocation which did not follow Thailand standards, after FM 99.1MHz in Narathiwat.

If I follow current Thailand FM radio frequency allocation which is 250kHz per channel, as 102.5MHz is not suitable to be used in Satun main transmitter site as interference from Raaga FM 102.4MHz Gunung Jerai Malaysia, actually FM 102.75MHz can be used in Satun province for community radio station, but low power and not to use main site like public broadcasters transmit from Khuan Khan.

As FM 102.75MHz is not far from Perlis FM 102.9MHz Padang Pauh which separated at 150kHz, so FM 102.75MHz is not suitable to be used in Amphoe Mueang Satun due to interference, but this frequency can be used in other districts within Satun province, Thailand which a bit further from Perlis, Malaysia.

FM 102.75MHz radio transmission can be used in this transmission location below, but only select either one districts:

1. La-Ngu
2. Manang
3. Khuan Kalong
4. Tha Phae

To avoid interference to Perlis FM 102.9MHz Padang Pauh coverage in Perlis, Malaysia, the maximum transmitter power is 500W for FM 102.75MHz Satun radio transmission (Transmitter site: La-Ngu, Manang, Khuan Kalong or Tha Phae).

If FM 102.75MHz is transmitted from Thung Wa, it is not suitable because it can interfere 4th Army Radio FM 103.0MHz Trang in Palian district which is high power transmission. In addition, FM 102.75MHz may be interfered by FM 103.0MHz Trang in some Thung Wa district.

102.75MHz: Thung Wa FM
103.0MHz: 4th Area Army Radio TP4FM Trang
<250kHz>

==RF analysis of FM 102.75MHz in Satun province==

1. Amphoe Mueang Satun (including Khuan Khan)

102.75MHz: Amphoe Mueang Satun FM
102.9MHz: Perlis FM Padang Pauh
<150kHz, NOT OK>

2. Manang/La-Ngu/Khuan Kalong/Tha Phae

102.75MHz: Thailand FM (Transmission site either Manang/La-Ngu/Khuan Kalong/Tha Phae)
102.9MHz: Perlis FM Padang Pauh
<150kHz, OK>

102.75MHz: Thailand FM (Transmission site either Manang, La-Ngu, Khuan Kalong, or Tha Phae)
103.0MHz: TP4FM Trang
<250kHz, OK>

94PFM We Love Satun (Thailand) received in Alor Setar, Kedah, Malaysia

In Alor Setar and Kuala Kedah, when RTM Mutiara FM 93.9MHz Gunung Jerai receiving signal goes weak, actually there is a Thailand radio station that I received there on the frequency next to Mutiara FM 93.9MHz. FM 94.0MHz has three radio stations within Southern Thailand where nearby Malaysia border, 94PFM We Love Satun from Satun, 94FM Club from Hatyai and True Love Kolok Radio from Sungai Golok.

I received 94PFM We Love Satun in Alor Setar, Kedah, Malaysia when Mutiara FM 93.9MHz Gunung Jerai signal goes weak.

For your information, Mutiara FM 93.9MHz Gunung Jerai does not cover Alor Setar and most of Kedah areas, it only targets blind spot areas of FM 95.7MHz Bukit Penara in North Penang Island such as Batu Feringghi, Tanjung Bungah, Teluk Bahang and Tanjung Tokong.

In Alor Setar, 94PFM We Love Satun FM 94.0MHz is receivable, but it is not clear and having a bit interference with Mutiara FM 93.9MHz Gunung Jerai each other.

- Frequency: FM 94.0MHz
- Power: 0.5kW
- Transmission site: Tirasathit Alley, Tambon Phiman, Amphoe Mueang Satun, Thailand
- Receiving site: Alor Setar, Kedah, Malaysia
- Distance: 65km

Apart from MCOT Satun FM 93.25MHz and Radio Thailand Satun (FM 95.5MHz and FM 99.5MHz) where transmitted from Khuan Khan hill, but 94PFM We Love Satun is the only Satun town transmitted radio station which can be received in Alor Setar, Kedah weakly.

Received Thailand radio stations in Kelantan, Malaysia, but Pattani is the furthest radio station received in Kelantan?

Kelantan is a state located northeast Peninsular Malaysia within east coast region, border with Thailand at north, Terengganu at east, Perak at west, and Pahang at south.

As it is located next to Thailand border, so people in North Kelantan are able to receive Thailand TV and radio stations easily. Kelantan is bordered to Narathiwat province of Thailand.

North Kelantan usually can receive Thailand radio stations from Narathiwat, Sungai Golok and Yala (Khao Pokyo), such as:

1. Radio Thailand Narathiwat FM 98.25MHz
2. Radio Thailand Sungai Golok FM 106.5MHz
3. MCOT Narathiwat FM 96.0MHz
4. Police Radio FM 88.25MHz Narathiwat
5. Khon Tak Bai Radio FM 88.75MHz (only in Tumpat)
6. Kolok FM 101.5MHz from Sungai Golok
7. Kor. Sor. Wor 6 FM 92.5MHz Sungai Padi
8. Voice of Navy FM 94.75MHz (KCS Radio) Narathiwat
9. Slang Phan Fa Narathiwat FM 96.75MHz
10. 912 Radio Station FM 99.1MHz Narathiwat
11. SV Sound Radio FM 107.0MHz Tak Bai
12. Radio Thailand Yala FM 92.0MHz, 94.25MHz and 95.0MHz
13. Radio Thailand Betong FM 93.0MHz
14. MCOT Yala FM 102.5MHz
15. Parliament Radio Station FM 89.0MHz Yala

Apart from Narathiwat, Tak Bai, Sungai Golok and Yala (Khao Pokyo), the furthest distant Thailand radio station that can be received in North Kelantan is from Pattani.

In the videos by Senn Lens on YouTube, FM 107.25MHz is the only Pattani transmitted Thailand radio station which available in part of North Kelantan.

FM 107.25MHz is Mor Or Mahawitthayalai Songkhla Nakharin (PSU Radio Network). English translation is Prince of Songkha University radio station. It is an education radio station operated by Prince of Songkhla University.

There are three videos of PSU Radio Network FM 107.25MHz from Pattani, Thailand received in three locations:

1. Kota Bharu (140km)
2. Pasir Mas (135km)
3. Jeli (145km)

Transmission power is 1kW.

==SINPO code of PSU Radio Network FM 107.25MHz from Pattani, Thailand received in Kelantan, Malaysia==

1. Kota Bharu: 42233 (interference by Fly FM 107.4MHz Peringat)
2. Pasir Mas: 12221
3. Jeli (nearby R&R Titiwangsa): 55455

Kelantan FM has a low power transmitter in Bukit Bintang, Besut, Terengganu on FM 107.1MHz to cover East Kelantan (Bachok), it is not only interfered by SV Sound Radio FM 107.0MHz from Tak Bai, Thailand in Kota Bharu and Tumpat, it is also interfered by PSU Radio Network FM 107.25MHz Pattani Thailand in Kota Bharu too. Although PSU Radio Network FM 107.25MHz from Pattani is receivable in North Kelantan, but it is interfered by local Fly FM 107.4MHz from Peringat which covers these locations.

Apart from PSU Radio Network FM 107.25MHz, there are none of other Pattani radio stations can be received in North Kelantan. Radio Thailand Pattani FM 101.0MHz, MCOT Pattani FM 91.0MHz and TP4 FM 93.5MHz are not receivable there.

988 FM 96.1MHz from Gunung Jerai and Melody FM 98.5MHz Gunung Kledang received at Jeli-Gerik highway

If you follow Senn Lens (Youtuber from Kelantan) Youtube channel, he received 988 FM 96.1MHz from Gunung Jerai at Jeli-Gerik highway.

According to the video, 988 FM 96.1MHz from Gunung Jerai was received at Jeli-Gerik highway before Tasik Banding while driving from Jeli to Gerik. The receiving signal quality was moderate to good, no interference found. As this highway has high elevation above sea level, so the reception is still clear.

==988 FM 96.1MHz Gunung Jerai receiving signal result==
* Frequency: FM 96.1MHz

94PFM We Love Satun from Thailand received in Penang, Malaysia (Teluk Bahang)

On 14th February 2020 (Valentine's Day), a YouTuber named Senn Lens published a radio aircheck video on YouTube by receiving 94PFM We Love Satun in Penang, Malaysia.

According to this video, 94PFM We Love Satun on FM 94.0MHz was received nearby Teluk Bahang, Penang, Malaysia.

94PFM We Love Satun transmitter site is located in Tirasathit Alley, Tambon Phiman, Amphoe Mueang Satun, Thailand which is 94PFM We Love Satun studio and office, instead of Khuan Khan site where is MCOT and Radio Thailand Satun site.

The receiving condition is moderate, but signal goes weak when pass through some small hills. He received in the car which is Toyota Corolla Altis E170, although 94PFM We Love Satun has 100kHz frequency separation from local Mutiara FM 93.9MHz Gunung Jerai, but according to the video, 94PFM We Love Satun had no interference from Mutiara FM 93.9MHz Gunung Jerai, I strongly believe that his Toyota Corolla Altis E170 car multimedia system is high sensitivity radio receiver which can filter the interference noise.

The distance from 94PFM We Love Satun site to Teluk Bahang, Penang, Malaysia is about 129km-130km.

==94PFM We Love Satun reception signal result==
* Frequency: FM 94.0MHz
* Power: 0.5kW
* Transmitting site: Tirasathit Alley, Tambon Phiman, Amphoe Mueang Satun, Thailand
* Receiving location: Teluk Bahang, Penang, Malaysia
* Distance: 129km
* SINPO code: 23322

SINPO stands for "Signal Interference Noise Propagation Overall" (1 is poor, 5 is excellent for each section), which is always used by DXers for signal reception result.

This is 4th location in Malaysia to receive 94PFM We Love Satun FM 94.0MHz from Satun, Thailand, that is Teluk Bahang, Penang. Previous locations were:

1. Langkawi, Kedah
2. Alor Setar, Kedah
3. Yan, Kedah (Gunung Jerai top peak)

List of Indonesia AM (MW) radio stations that I received in Malaysia

Here are the Indonesia AM (MW Medium Wave) radio stations list that I received in Malaysia, receiving location is based in Balakong and Puchong, Selangor, all stations are Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI):

* AM 927kHz: RRI Pekanbaru PRO-4
* AM 1251kHz: RRI Banda Aceh PRO-4
* AM 1413kHz: RRI Sungai Liat PRO-1
* AM 1512kHz: RRI Bukittinggi PRO-1

15 years ago, I was used to receive RRI Tanung Pinang PRO-1 on AM 1341kHz, RRI Palembang PRO-1 AM 1287kHz, RRI PRO-3 AM 999kHz from Jakarta, and RRI Padang PRO-1 AM 1179kHz in Malaysia during early morning and night transmission.

AM 1341kHz, AM 1287kHz and AM 1179kHz are possibly inactive as they might move to FM radio transmission. Radio Republik Indonesia gradually closes down AM radio transmission in Indonesia and slowly shifts to FM radio for the entire country.

In my receiving location, Radio Republik Indonesia RRI Bukittinggi PRO-1 AM 1512kHz was having co-channel interference from Thailand Air Force Radio Station AM 1512kHz from Songkhla, Thailand. I remembered when I listened to Thai songs on AM 1512kHz, I could hear Muslim prayer (Azan) on the frequency while I was in the car.

Radio Thailand Betong FM 93.0MHz received in Malaysia.

Radio Thailand Betong FM 93.0MHz, a district radio station for Betong in Yala province, Thailand, nearby Perak, Malaysia border. It does not only serve Betong listeners, it can be received in Pengkalan Hulu, Gerik and Klian Intan of Perak, Baling of Kedah too.

Previously I had received this radio station in Penang, Ipoh and Kuala Kangsar and another YouTuber named Senn Lens received this radio station in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, and Kulim of Kedah.

Although this radio station listenership within Betong district is small, but the coverage of Radio Thailand Betong FM 93.0MHz is quite wide. The first location that I received this radio station was in Penang, the receiving signal condition was not good and interfered by Hitz FM 92.8MHz Gunung Jerai which is local transmitter site for Penang.

==Penang== (Georgetown and Batu Feringghi)

==Perak== (Kuala Kangsar, Ipoh, Taiping, and Gerik)

==Kelantan== (Kota Bharu)

DISCLAIMER: Blog article regarding my suggestion of FM radio frequencies. Misleading frequency information on Malaysia radio stations' Wikipedia.

Recently there is much of misleading information on selected Malaysia FM radio stations on Wikipedia, especially frequencies list section. I was informed by my friends about that, and hereby I would like thank to my friends for informing me about this matter. I'm Philip Yong, the owner of Philip DXing Log noted this misleading frequency information on Wikipedia seriously.

Bernama Radio Wikipedia

goXUAN Wikipedia

Kool FM Wikipedia

Raaga Wikipedia

Zayan Wikipedia

Above all the screenshots, those Wikipedia edits are badly misleading to the public enough. Let me to make clarifications by radio station.

Raaga is a Malaysia Tamil radio station by Astro Radio. Due to license condition, currently it is available in West Coast of Peninsular Malaysia only, meanwhile East Coast is dominated by Gegar. Back to 2013, I suggested Astro Radio to expand coverage for Raaga in Kuantan only, but I was informed that Astro Radio would not make such suggestion due to license restrictions and market condition.

About the misleading frequencies information on Raaga, Bernama Radio, goXUAN, CityPlus FM and Zayan's Wikipedia, most of the frequencies can cause heavy interference to existing radio stations. I believe such Wikipedia editor who did these all never performed frequencies studies and took into other considerations.

In terms of technical aspects, I strongly the particular user who edited these Wikipedia article never takes frequency planning study, interference study, border coordination study and marketing into considerations.

==Bernama Radio==
* 88.6MHz Kedah, Perlis, Penang: Cause interference to Traxx FM Bukit Genting 88.5MHz, Kedah FM Bukit Sungai Kecil 88.5MHz, and Radio Klasik FM 88.7MHz Bukit Palong
* 105.7MHz Ipoh: Depends on which transmission site located at, but if it is located in Gunung Kledang, it would cause interference to Lite FM 105.7MHz Gunung Ulu Kali
* 103.5MHz Taiping: Bad interference to Radio Klasik FM 103.3MHz Bukit Larut which covers Taiping
* 89.1MHz Kuantan: Interference to Radio Klasik FM 89.2MHz Bukit Sulai in Pekan, Gambang
* 106.4MHz Kuala Terengganu: OK
* 95.7MHz Kota Bharu: Interference to Radio KIasik FM 95.5MHz Bukit Bakar
* 93.5MHz Seremban: Interference to 988 FM 93.3MHz Gunung Telapak Burok and Radio Klasik FM 93.6MHz Gunung Ledang
* 88.9MHz Melaka/North Johor: Interference to BBC World Service Singapore and Traxx FM 88.7MHz Gunung Telapak Burok because Traxx FM 88.7 has separation from Suria FM 88.5MHz Gunung Ledang

==goXUAN==

*107.6 MHz Kedah, Perlis, Penang: Current goXUAN FM 107.6MHz is from Bukit Penara for Penang, South Kedah, and North perak only. Not include Alor Setar and Perlis. It would cause interference to Kool FM Alor Setar 107.3MHz, Minnal FM 107.5MHz Bukit Dedap coverage badly.
* 97.0MHz Ipoh and Taiping?: Interference to Sinar FM 96.9MHz Gunung Kledang. On Malay Wikipedia, 97.3MHz Ipoh can cause interference to Perak FM 97.3MHz Changkat Rembian
* 95.5MHz Kuantan: Interference to Pahang FM 95.5MHz Bukit Sulai in Pekan, Gambang
* 103.6MHz Kuala Terengganu: OK
* 101.3MHz Kota Bharu: Interference to Radio KIasik FM 101.1MHz Wakaf Che Yeh and Golok FM 101.5MHz
* 93.5MHz Melaka/North Johor: Interference to Radio Klasik FM 93.6MHz Gunung Ledang
* 88.5MHz Kota Kinabalu: Not OK, due to interference to Labuan 88.5MHz
* 100.5MHz Kuching: Sounds ok.

goXUAN is only available in Klang Valley on FM 88.9MHz and Penang on FM 107.6MHz. No other locations are expanded due to its license conditions.

==RAAGA==

* 105.7MHz Kuantan: OK
* 95.2MHz Kuala Terengganu: Interference to Minnal FM 95.3MHz Bukit Bintang in Setiu and Besut
* 103.7MHz Kota Bharu: Interference to Narathiwat FM 103.75MHz

Raaga has no plan to expand coverage to east coast as the region is not its market.

==ZAYAN==

Same condition as goXUAN. Other than current 6 frequencies (104.9/106.4/98.1/91.6/98.9/92.8) which carried formerly by Red FM, Zayan never plans to expand to other locations due to license conditions.

Its existing frequency FM 106.4MHz Ipoh and Taiping is misleading, FM 106.4MHz is for Ipoh only, excluding Taiping. In Taiping, it is very difficult to receive Ipoh FM radio stations due to big mountains of Gunung Bubu nearby Terong. To listen to Zayan in Taiping, its frequency is FM 98.1MHz from Gunung Jerai, not FM 106.4MHz Gunung Kledang!

* 103.1MHz Kuala Terengganu: Interference with Era FM 102.8MHz Bukit Besar.
* 100.9MHz Kota Bharu: Interference to Radio KIasik FM 101.1MHz Wakaf Che Yeh and Minnal FM Bukit Bakar FM 100.9MHz

==CityPlus FM==

The Malaysia first Chinese business radio station is only available in Seremban (106.0MHz) and Kuching (92.5MHz), but it is available in Central Pahang, part of Selangor/Kuala Lumpur/Melaka/Johor on FM 106.0MHz transmitted from Gunung Telapak Burok.

* 106.0MHz Kedah and Perlis: Interference to Ai FM 106.1MHz Bukit Larut, Traxx FM 105.9MHz Bukit Dedap (Sik, Kedah)/UUM Sintok and VR Radio FM 106.0MHz (Danok, Thailand)
* 106.0MHz Kuala Terengganu: Interference to Lite FM 105.9MHz Bukit Besar
* 106.0MHz Johor Bahru: Interference to IKIM FM 106.2MHz Gunung Pulai
* 103.0MHz Penang: Interference to Perlis FM 102.9MHz Padang Pauh and IKIM FM 102.7MHz Bukit Genting
* 103.0MHz Ipoh: Interference to IKIM FM 102.7MHz Gunung Kledang and Melody FM 103.0MHz Gunung Ulu Kali
* 103.0MHz Kuantan: Interference to Minnal FM 103.3MHz Bukit Pelindung
* 103.0MHz Kota Bharu: Interference to Kelantan FM 102.9MHz Wakaf Che Yeh

CityPlus FM never plans to expand its coverage in these such areas above due to market condition.

==KOOL FM==

102.1MHz Seremban, 100.9MHz Melaka/North Johor, 94.9MHz Ipoh, and 105.7MHz Taiping. My information on previous blog article in 2015/16 was taken and copied on Wikipedia without my knowledge, those information on my blog article is not official and just a personal suggestion (in general way), somehow the frequency is expired.

* 102.1MHz Seremban: No longer suitable because interference with Pahang FM 102.2MHz Bukit Fraser (spotted since October 2018)
* 94.9MHz Ipoh: Not suitable because interference to Radio Klasik Gunung Jerai FM 94.9MHz coverage in Kedah
* 87.5MHz Johor Bahru: Not suitable because of Batam FM 87.6MHz, but depends on which site that broadcaster uses.
* 104.0MHz Langkawi: None of radio stations from Media Prima enters to Langkawi market due to no commercial value condition. In addition, FM 104.0MHz will cause interference to Border Patrol Police radio station FM 104.0MHz in Songkhla province.

When I read these Wikipedia article, to avoid public from misunderstanding about it, I removed these misleading articles immediately. In addition, no such official announcements are made by radio stations. Wikipedia is not a platform to make fake news, fake articles, misleading information or mimic somebody.

Next, come to Kool FM. Currently it has 6 frequencies in service, 101.3MHz Kuala Lumpur, 90.2MHz Penang, 93.6MHz Kuala Terengganu, 88.6MHz Kota Bharu, 107.3MHz Alor Setar, and 104.3MHz Kuching. No any further frequencies announcements are made by Kool FM. Yes, I found that someone was using my information to write on Kool FM Wikipedia frequency section with a remark "COMING SOON", but I removed them immediately because those information are false.

* 102.1MHz: Seremban
* 100.9MHz: Melaka/North Johor
* 94.9MHz: Ipoh and Central Perak
* 105.7MHz: Taiping and North Perak

For everyone's attention, the frequencies above such as 102.1MHz, 100.9MHz, 94.9MHz and 105.7MHz were used to be published on my blog in late 2015 till 2018 regarding my opinion and suggestion for Kool FM personally.

The frequencies above were totally unofficial, they were just my personal proposal and opinion, I did not get any information from somebody within the broadcaster company. Those frequencies that were listed, based on basic frequency scanning in my location by using radio receiver, but other considerations were not fully included yet such as interference and transmission parameters.

In this article, I include RF analysis to answer the user who publish fraud information on Zayan, goXUAN, Bernama Radio, CityPlus FM Wikipedia.

I work within broadcast industry (selling broadcast equipment). Frequency study and interference analysis are mandatory processes when propose frequency parameter in an area. It is not easy to do such thing, as it takes many considerations. For the frequencies assignment, the final decision is done by MCMC, not broadcasters.

As the blog articles on Philip DXing Log regarding unofficial frequency suggestions opinion, I will not tolerate to people who misuse my articles on official platform such as Wikipedia, I remove them from Wikipedia in order to public interest.

I respect people's decision to publish their thoughts on social media platform such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Blogger and Instagram, but not on Wikipedia.

Wikipedia is not a platform to put misleading content, and mimic somebody.

If someone would like to use and share my article, I would definitely welcome them, but never use my article on Wikipedia without permission.

I fully respect everyone's thoughts and opinions as I emphasized on freedom of speech, but I never allow to use unofficial information on official platform. Sharing opinion each other is not stupid and wrong, but it is depended on right situation, right place and right time to do so.
