Outside Kuching, Hot FM 94.3MHz can be tuned in Northern Betong Division (Saratok, Kabong & Roban) and part of Sri Aman Division (Simanggang & Engkilili)

Do you know? Malaysia's No.1 radio station, Hot FM can be received in Northern Betong Division and part of Sri Aman Divison via 94.3MHz from Gunung Serapi.

In Sarawak, Hot FM only broadcasts in Kuching on the frequency 94.3MHz, transmitted from Gunung Serapi. Its main coverage areas are Kuching, Bau, Sematan, Kota Samarahan, Simunjan, Sebuyau and part of Serian.

In Betong and Sri Aman Divisions, Hot FM 94.3MHz can be tuned in Kabong, Roban, Saratok, Pusa, Maludam, Engkilili, Simanggang, Lingga and part of Debak.

1. Simanggang (147km)

2. Engkilili (172km)

3. Debak (138km)

4. Saratok (129km)

5. Roban (129km)

6. Kabong by Sarawak Radio & TV (106km)

Among 5 receiving locations in Sarawak, Saratok is the best town to receive Hot FM 94.3MHz from Gunung Serapi. It is loud and clear in Saratok, Sarawak with STEREO signal. Although Hot FM 94.3MHz has 100kHz frequency separation with RTM Sarawak FM 94.4MHz Off Spaoh transmitter, but there had no interference noise of RTM Sarawak FM 94.4MHz when I was listening to Hot FM 94.3MHz in Saratok on 19th May 2025 before departing to Sibu.

Hot FM 94.3MHz is slightly weaker in Roban and Engkilili, compare to Saratok.

I had not approached Kabong and Pusa as they were not listed in my locations of FM DX: Sarawak 2025 (PART 1). As Kabong and Pusa are located at coastal areas of Betong Division, but I may believe that Hot FM 94.3MHz is louder and clearer there because Gunung Serapi radio transmission can overspill signal to Kabong, Madulam and Pusa.

In Debak and Simanggang, Hot FM 94.3MHz Gunung Serapi transmitter has adjacent channel interference noise from RTM Sarawak FM 94.4MHz Off Spaoh transmitter. Before having breakfast at a restaurant in Simanggang town by eating my favorite Mee Pok, I monitored Hot FM 94.3MHz signal by using car radio. If I used TECSUN PL-380 and PL-310ET radio receiver to tune Hot FM 94.3MHz in Simanggang, the frequency was completely interfered by Sarawak FM 94.4MHz.

RTM Sarawak FM 94.4MHz Off Spaoh transmitter has clear distant signal in Simanggang town, causing Hot FM 94.3MHz has interference from this radio station. The main coverage of RTM Sarawak FM 94.4MHz Off Spaoh transmitter are Debak, Spaoh and Betong. In Saratok, Sarawak FM can be tuned loudly and clearly via 91.5MHz from Bukit Kayu Malam when 94.4MHz is interfered by Hot FM 94.3MHz, meanwhile 100.3MHz from Bukit Temudok has moderate signal there.

On Pan Borneo Highway, from Kuching to Sibu, Hot FM 94.3MHz can be tuned clearly until Sri Aman (Simanggang), then adjacent channel interference with Sarawak FM 94.4MHz Off Spoah transmitter starts from Temudok to Debak. In Spaoh and Betong, Hot FM 94.3MHz cannot be tuned totally due to Sarawak FM 94.4MHz. After that, Hot FM 94.3MHz is available again from Debak to Roban when RTM Sarawak FM 94.4MHz becomes weak in Mendas (area between Saratok and Debak).

Hot FM 94.3MHz coverage availability in Sarawak (based on Pan Borneo Highway):

1. Kuching>>Serian

2. Serian>>Sri Aman (weak signal)

3. Sri Aman>>Betong (interference with RTM Sarawak FM 94.4MHz Off Spaoh transmitter)

4. Betong>>Debak (signal is completely null due to Sarawak FM 94.4MHz)

5. Debak>>Roban (moderate signal)

6. Roban>>Sebangkoi (frequency leakage signal from Bukit Kayu Malam transmitters, RTM or Cats FM)

7. Sebangkoi>>Pakan (no signal)

8. Pakan>>Bintangor (weak signal)

In Sarikei Division, Hot FM 94.3MHz signal can be detected weakly near Pakan, Sarawak when I drove to Sibu on Pan Borneo Highway.

FM DX: Sibu, Sarawak

All the RTM radio stations, Cats FM and the commercial radio stations (Tea FM, MY FM, Era and Hitz FM) in Sibu, Sarawak are transmitted from Bukit Lima.

Although Sibu has very less DX radio stations, but from 18th to 20th May 2025, I managed to receive non-Bukit Lima transmitted radio stations from distant transmitter sites via FM frequency transmission.

In Sibu, alongside the local transmitter in Bukit Lima, I could receive the radio signal from Bukit Singgalang (Selangau), Bukit Kayu Malam (Sarikei), Bukit Memaloh (Kanowit) and Bukit Setiam (Bintulu).

There were 4 distant FM radio stations I tuned in Sibu town, Sarawak as the sample radio reception, all were RTM radio stations.

1. RTM Sibu FM 102.1MHz Bukit Singgalang (47km)

2. RTM Sibu FM 94.6MHz Bukit Kayu Malam (58km)

3. RTM Sarawak FM 107.1MHz Bukit Memaloh, Kanowit (42km)

4. RTM Bintulu FM 97.5MHz Bukit Setiam (143km)

All videos were recorded within Sibu town.

==Result of the distant radio reception in Sibu, Sarawak==

1. RTM Sibu FM is tuned on 87.6MHz from Bukit Lima in Sibu, but 94.6MHz Bukit Kayu Malam and 102.1MHz Bukit Singgalang are moderately clear there.

2. Compare the radio reception between 101.5MHz Bukit Lima, 107.1MHz Kanowit, 91.5MHz Bukit Kayu Malam and 95.1MHz Bukit Singgalang, RTM Sarawak FM 107.1MHz from Kanowit's Bukit Memaloh is the weakest frequency in Sibu, Sarawak. Unlike 91.5 and 95.1, Sarawak FM 107.1MHz signal doesn't show up STEREO signal in Sibu due to poor signal.

3. RTM Bintulu FM 97.5MHz from Bukit Setiam could be detected in Sibu town weakly. It is the furthest radio station tuned in Sibu, Sarawak.

RTM shortwave radio station Wai FM SW 11665kHz is loud and clear in Sibu, Sarawak. When Sibu FM airs local Malay broadcast from 9am to 12pm, the Iban listeners can continue listening to Wai FM Iban program from 9am to 12pm via shortwave frequency SW 11665kHz which is transmitted from RTM Kajang.

Radio stations in Saratok, Sarawak

In Betong Division, Sarawak, I conducted radio DXing in 5 locations, covering Betong, Spaoh, Debak, Saratok and Roban.

By comparing all of these towns, Saratok is the best location for radio DXing because I could tune more distant radio stations signal.

In Betong and Spaoh, I only focused on Wai FM Iban and Bidayuh, but I focused to monitor the distant radio signal of Hot FM, Wai FM Iban and Wai FM Bidayuh from Gunung Serapi.

Saratok has more distant radio stations than Betong, Spaoh and Debak, but it has lesser distant radio stations than Simanggang.

Around 4pm, when I reached Saratok, I managed to tune 5 radio stations from Kuching (Gunung Serapi).

1. Hot FM 94.3MHz Gunung Serapi (129km)

Although Hot FM 94.3MHz Gunung Serapi transmitter has 100kHz frequency separation with RTM Sarawak FM 94.4MHz from Off Spaoh transmitter, but unlike Simanggang and Debak, the radio reception of Hot FM 94.3MHz is very clear in Saratok, Sarawak without adjacent channel interference with Sarawak FM 94.4MHz. Between Hot FM 94.3MHz and Sarawak FM 94.4MHz, the radio signal of Hot FM is stronger than Sarawak FM 94.4MHz in Saratok, Sarawak.

RTM Sarawak FM is tuned on 91.5MHz from Bukit Kayu Malam in Saratok, meanwhile 100.3MHz Bukit Temudok transmitter signal is moderately clear, but it is not good as 91.5MHz.

94.4MHz Off Spaoh transmitter is not receivable and it is null by Hot FM 94.3MHz in Saratok. RTM Sarawak FM 94.4MHz Off Spaoh transmitter only covers Debak, Spaoh and Betong.

2. Wai FM Iban 101.3MHz Gunung Serapi (129km)

3. Wai FM Bidayuh/Radio Kayan 106.1MHz Gunung Serapi (129km)

4. Eight FM 98.3MHz Bukit Djin (112km)

5. Kool 101 FM 104.3MHz Bukit Djin (112km)

Kupi-Kupi FM 92.5MHz, Bernama Radio 100.9MHz and Tea FM 102.7MHz have no signal in Saratok. In addition, Bukit Lima transmitted Sibu radio stations have no signal there too.

Wai FM Iban in Saratok is tuned via RTM Sibu FM 94.6MHz from Bukit Kayu Malam, meanwhile Sri Aman FM 89.5MHz Bukit Temudok signal is not too clear in Saratok.

For Wai FM Bidayuh, 106.1MHz has clearer signal in Saratok town, but 101.7MHz has no signal there.

==List of radio stations in Saratok, Sarawak==

* RTM Radio Klasik FM 87.9MHz Bukit Kayu Malam

Radio stations in Engkilili, Sarawak

On 19th May 2025, I departed from Sibu to Simanggang for another series of radio DXing activity. It took 3 hours drive from Sibu to Simanggang.

Before reaching Simanggang town, I stopped in Engkilili for break and radio DXing activity. Engkilili was my first stop of 2nd day of FM DX: Sarawak 2025 (PART 1).

Engkilili is a town located in Lubok Antu District, Sri Aman Division, Sarawak. For radio coverage, Engkilili is covered by Bukit Temudok transmitter.

Alongside with Bukit Temudok transmitter, I could receive distant radio stations from Kuching and Serian weakly in Engkilili, Sarawak.

In Engkilili, I monitored 6 distant radio stations signal.

1. Hot FM 94.3MHz Gunung Serapi (172km)

2. RTM Wai FM Iban 101.3MHz Gunung Serapi (172km)

3. RTM Wai FM Bidayuh/Radio Kayan 106.1MHz Gunung Serapi (172km) & 101.7MHz Gunung Ampungan (117km)

Wai FM Bidayuh 106.1MHz dominates more signal than 101.7MHz in Engkilili, Sarawak.

4. Kupi-Kupi FM 92.5MHz Bukit Djin (153km)

5. Eight FM 98.3MHz Bukit Djin (153km)

6. Kool 101 FM 104.3MHz Bukit Djin (153km)

None of Astro radio stations can be tuned in Engkilili, Sarawak as they're operating at lower transmitter power in Bukit Djin. From Kuching to Sri Aman, Astro Kuching radio stations can be only received up to Siburan, Sarawak.

Tea FM 102.7MHz and Bernama Radio FM 100.9MHz from Bukit Antu have no signal in Engkilili.

==List of the radio stations in Engkilili, Sarawak==

Radio stations in Dalat, Sarawak

After having Kolo Mee breakfast in Mukah town, I continued my journey to Dalat as my final radio DXing location in Sarawak before heading back to Sibu.

Dalat is another small town in Mukah Division, it is ultra far from Sibu by driving via Selangau and Mukah, there is no shortcut from Sibu to Dalat at all, this makes me to feel very far to travel both towns.

For radio signal monitoring, Dalat is better than Mukah actually.

In Dalat, RTM radio stations are still covered by Mukah transmitter, but the radio stations from Bukit Singgalang and Bukit Setiam are still receivable there. Sibu commercial radio stations like Tea FM, Era Sarawak, MY FM and Hitz are receivable in Dalat, signals are moderately weak.

The radio reception of Tea FM, Era Sarawak, MY FM and Hitz in Dalat are MONO signal actually.

1. Era FM Sarawak 96.3MHz (53km from Bukit Lima)

2. Hitz FM 105.1MHz (53km from Bukit Lima)

3. MY FM 105.9MHz (53km from Bukit Lima)

4. Tea FM 100.7MHz (53km from Bukit Lima)

5. RTM Bintulu FM 97.5MHz (112km from Bukit Setiam)

Videos were recorded at Dalat Waterfront, opposite of Kampung Brunei Dalat by using TECSUN PL-310ET radio receiver.

RTM Sarawak FM in Dalat is tuned on 89.9MHz from TM Mukah, formerly it had a local frequency on 96.9MHz, but Sarawak FM 96.9MHz from Stesen Dalat was already terminated its transmission.

From Dalat to Mukah via Oya, Bukit Lima transmitted Sibu radio stations become weak near Oya, Sarawak. It is very interesting whether MY FM 105.9, Hitz 105.1, Tea FM 100.7 and Era Sarawak 96.3 from Bukit Lima could be tuned in other towns like Daro, Igan and Matu or not, but I have no chance to reach those areas because they are very far from Mukah and Sibu, somehow Daro has no road access without ferry.

Dalat town is very quiet actually. If you want to get rid of stress from the city, this town is recommended for you.

==List of radio stations in Dalat, Sarawak==

* RTM Radio Klasik FM 88.3MHz Mukah/93.3MHz Bukit Singgalang

* RTM Nasional FM 89.1MHz Mukah

* RTM Sarawak FM 89.9MHz Mukah

* RTM Traxx FM 90.7MHz Mukah

* RTM Ai FM 91.5MHz Mukah

* RTM Red FM 92.3MHz Mukah

* RTM Sibu FM 98.7MHz Mukah

* Cats FM 97.9MHz Mukah

* RTM Bintulu FM 97.5MHz Bukit Setiam (weak)

* Hitz FM 105.1MHz Bukit Lima SIBU (weak)

* Era FM Sarawak 96.3MHz Bukit Lima SIBU (weak)

* MY FM 105.9MHz Bukit Lima SIBU (weak)

* Tea FM 100.7MHz Bukit Lima SIBU (weak)

Radio stations in Mukah, Sarawak

Mukah was part of my location list in FM DX: Sarawak 2025 (PART 1). It is very far traveling from Sibu to this town. When I was in Mukah, I tried my luck of radio DXing and had a simple breakfast there.

Mukah has more Melanau and Malay people, compare to other towns of Sarawak like Sibu, Bintulu and Simanggang. In my opinion, Mukah is not the good location of me to conduct radio DXing because many frequencies are interfered by local radio stations due to intermodulation interference.

In Mukah, Hitz FM 105.1MHz, MY FM 105.9MHz and Tea FM 100.7MHz from Bukit Lima had zero signal, meanwhile Era FM Sarawak FM 96.3MHz had very weak signal and possibly frequency leakage from Cats FM.

Actually Hitz FM 105.1MHz and MY FM 105.9MHz had a strong intermodulation interference of Cats FM where I believed the signal of Cats FM 97.9MHz in TM Mukah tower leaks the signal to other frequency band.

TM Mukah tower is located in the vicinity of Mukah town, so the people will hear the intermodulation interference from Cats FM when tune Hitz FM 105.1 and MY FM 105.9 in Mukah.

Regarding the radio stations in Mukah, this town can only tune RTM radio stations and Cats FM 97.9MHz where are transmitted from Mukah, but Bintulu radio stations from Bukit Setiam could be tuned there.

Bukit Singgalang radio stations are available in Mukah, but signal is not too clear.

1. Era FM Sarawak 96.3MHz (74km from Bukit Lima)

Note: Potentially Era FM Sarawak 96.3MHz has frequency leakage noise of Cats FM in Mukah, but I had caught its signal successfully outside the town before heading to Dalat.

2. RTM Sibu FM 102.1MHz (51km from Bukit Singgalang)

In Mukah, RTM Sibu FM can be tuned on 98.7MHz.

3. RTM Bintulu FM 97.5MHz (92km from Bukit Setiam)

By comparing with other locations in Sarawak like Sibu and Sri Aman, I made very less radio signal monitoring videos in Mukah, Sarawak because Mukah has very less distant radio stations. Therefore, I only made 3 videos there before eating Minced Chicken Mee Kolok with black sauce at a Malay restaurant around 9.45am.

==List of radio stations in Mukah, Sarawak==

* RTM Radio Klasik FM 88.3MHz Mukah

* RTM Nasional FM 89.1MHz Mukah

* RTM Sarawak FM 89.9MHz Mukah

* RTM Traxx FM 90.7MHz Mukah

* RTM Ai FM 91.5MHz Mukah

* RTM Red FM 92.3MHz Mukah

* RTM Sibu FM 98.7MHz Mukah

* RTM Bintulu FM 97.5MHz Bukit Setiam (OK)

* Cats FM 97.9MHz Mukah

The furthest radio station tuned in Mukah, Sarawak is Bintulu FM 97.5MHz from Bukit Setiam.

I don't stop in Mukah for longer duration because there are no much of DX radio stations there, so I went to Dalat immediately after having breakfast in Mukah.

RTM Wai FM Bidayuh/Radio Kayan 106.1MHz from Gunung Serapi is the furthest radio station tuned in Sarikei, Sarawak.

In Sarikei, alongside RTM radio stations and Cats FM, I had managed to tune 4 commercial radio stations from Sibu's Bukit Lima such as Era FM Sarawak 96.3MHz, Hitz FM 105.1MHz, MY FM 105.9MHz and Tea FM 100.7MHz with moderate signal. However, I also could receive RTM Wai FM Bidayuh/Radio Kayan signal in Sarikei, Sarawak on the frequency 106.1MHz from Gunung Serapi.

Technically RTM Wai FM Bidayuh/Radio Kayan 106.1MHz Gunung Serapi transmitter can be tuned moderately in Saratok, Roban, Pusa and Kabong where are located at northern part of Betong Division. Surprisingly, Wai FM Bidayuh/Radio Kayan 106.1MHz could be detected in Sarikei, Sarawak with weak signal.

The signal was very weak in Sarikei town, but it was moderately clear at some areas outside the vicinity of Sarikei town center when I was heading from Pan Borneo Highway to Sarikei town center.

Receiving distance from Gunung Serapi to Sarikei is 161km, RTM Wai FM Bidayuh/Radio Kayan becomes the furthest radio station in Sarikei, Sarawak.

* Frequency: FM 106.1MHz

* Power: 1kW

* Transmitter site: Gunung Serapi, Kuching, Sarawak

* Receiving site: Sarikei, Sarawak

* Distance: 158-161km

Meanwhile RTM Wai FM Iban 101.3MHz from Gunung Serapi had no signal in Sarikei, both Iban and Bidayuh radio stations are using different transmitter and antenna systems in Gunung Serapi. It seems that RTM Wai FM Bidayuh 106.1MHz has wider coverage than Wai FM Iban 101.3MHz.

Malay commercial radio station Hot FM 94.3MHz from Gunung Serapi has no signal in Sarikei town, but it has signal near Pakan.

On Pan Borneo Highway within Sarikei Division, I also could detect RTM Wai FM Bidayuh/Radio Kayan signal on 106.1MHz near Pakan area when I was heading back to Sibu, Sarawak, the tuning distance is about 168km.

List of the radio stations in Kanowit, Sarawak

Kanowit was my first destination in Central Sarawak after landing at Sibu Airport. When I got a car that I rented for 3 days after paying to the car rental company at Sibu Airport, the first thing to do was driving to Kanowit town for having late breakfast and radio signal monitoring.

Kanowit is a small town in Sibu Division, it takes 45 minutes drive from Sibu town, meanwhile 35 minutes from the airport. It is a popular stopover town in between Sibu and Kapit where many people will stop in Kanowit for meals and rest before driving to Kapit.

Compare to other towns near Sibu, Kanowit is not a good town to receive tune a clear signal radio station, it is the blindspot coverage of Bukit Lima and Bukit Singgalang radio transmitters.

In Kanowit, the only clearest radio station is RTM Sarawak FM 107.1MHz, transmitted from Bukit Memaloh, meanwhile Nasional FM 104.5MHz is having transmission issue on its audio feeds.

Sibu commercial radio stations from Bukit Lima such as Tea FM 100.7MHz, MY FM 105.9MHz, Hitz FM 105.1MHz and Era FM 96.3MHz are very difficult to be tuned in Kanowit, Sarawak. For Cats FM, 88.4MHz from Bukit Lima has no signal, meanwhile 99.9MHz from Bukit Singgalang has moderately weak signal.

Before and after the breakfast, I managed to record 10 radio signal monitoring videos in Kanowit, Sarawak.

1. RTM Sibu FM/Wai FM Iban 102.1MHz from Bukit Singgalang (40km)

2. RTM Traxx FM 95.9MHz from Bukit Singgalang (40km)

3. RTM Ai FM 97.1MHz from Bukit Singgalang (40km)

4. RTM Red FM 101.1MHz from Bukit Singgalang (40km)

5. Cats FM 99.9MHz from Bukit Singgalang (40km)

6. Era FM 96.3MHz from Bukit Lima (39km)

7. Hitz FM 105.1MHz from Bukit Lima (39km)

8. MY FM 105.9MHz from Bukit Lima (39km)

9. Tea FM 100.7MHz from Bukit Lima (39km)

10. RTM Sarawak FM 107.1MHz Bukit Memaloh (0.5km)

In my opinion, Kanowit town is a Sarawak version of Sungai Siput (U), Perak in terms of radio reception. In Sungai Siput (U), Bukit Larut and Gunung Kledang transmitters have weak coverage, RTM launched a gap filler transmitter there for Radio Klasik and Nasional FM.

Bukit Lima and Bukit Singgalang radio stations only show MONO signal because they're not clear in Kanowit, but Bukit Singgalang has more signal than Bukit Lima there by having comparison. Hence, to serve Kanowit community, RTM can add more radio stations in Kanowit transmitter by applying more new frequencies.

So, I conclude a detail list of radio stations in Kanowit, Sarawak.

* RTM Radio Klasik FM 93.3MHz Bukit Singgalang (weak signal)

* RTM Nasional FM 104.5MHz Kanowit

* RTM Sarawak FM 107.1MHz Kanowit

* RTM Traxx FM 95.9MHz Bukit Singgalang (weak signal)

* RTM Ai FM 97.1MHz Bukit Singgalang (weak signal)

* RTM Red FM 101.1MHz Bukit Singgalang (weak signal)

* RTM Sibu FM 102.1MHz Bukit Singgalang (weak signal)

* Cats FM 99.9MHz Bukit Singgalang (moderately weak)

* Hitz FM 105.1MHz Bukit Lima (weak signal)

* MY FM 105.9MHz Bukit Lima (weak signal)

* Era FM Sarawak 96.3MHz Bukit Lima (weak signal)

* Tea FM 100.7MHz Bukit Lima (weak signal)

RTM (Radio Televisyen Malaysia) Sarawak should switch Nasional FM Kanowit frequency 104.5MHz to Sibu FM/Wai FM Iban to cater more local listeners in Kanowit, Sarawak.

RTM Sarawak launched two radio stations, Nasional FM 104.5MHz and Sarawak FM 107.1MHz in Kanowit, Sarawak by installing the transmitters in Bukit Memaloh because Kanowit cannot receive Bukit Lima and Bukit Singgalang radio stations clearly.

Kanowit is a small town in Sibu Division, it is a busy town on weekend and festival seasons because many people who go to Kapit will stop there before continuing their journey.

When I was in Kanowit, Sarawak, I could only tune RTM Sarawak FM 107.1MHz as the clearest frequency, meanwhile Nasional FM 104.5MHz had audio feed issue. For the rest RTM radio stations, I had to tune them via Bukit Singgalang transmitter.

Between Bukit Singgalang and Bukit Lima, the signal from Bukit Singgalang is slightly better than Bukit Lima in Kanowit town when I tuned Ai FM, Traxx FM, Radio Klasik, Nasional FM, Red FM and Sibu FM.

As Kanowit has many Iban people, RTM Sibu FM/Wai FM Iban is not so clear there. In Kanowit, RTM Sibu FM/Wai FM Iban is tuned on 102.1MHz from Bukit Singgalang, but the signal is not so clear, meanwhile 87.6MHz from Bukit Lima is weaker than 102.1MHz.

In my opinion, by not applying new frequency for RTM Sibu FM/Wai FM Iban in Kanowit, I suggest RTM Sarawak to cease Nasional FM broadcast and replace with Sibu FM/Wai FM Iban because Sibu FM/Wai FM Iban is more localized than Nasional FM in Kanowit, Sarawak.

Between Nasional FM and Sibu FM/Wai FM Iban, I think Sibu FM/Wai FM Iban is more important than Nasional FM in Kanowit, Sarawak.

To listen to RTM national news, RTM Sarawak FM 107.1MHz is available on selected hours.

If RTM switches Nasional FM Kanowit frequency 104.5MHz to Sibu FM/Wai FM Iban, the Kanowit's Iban people can tune to Wai FM Iban clearly, so the radio reception of Sibu FM 104.5MHz will be clearer than 102.1MHz in Kanowit, Sarawak.

I hope RTM Sarawak will launch Sibu FM's Kanowit frequency by taking over Nasional FM's slot (104.5MHz).

The radio reception of Hitz FM 105.1MHz, MY FM 105.9MHz, Era FM Sarawak 96.3MHz and Tea FM 100.7MHz in Sarikei, Sarawak

Except Cats FM, from 2017 to 2019, there were 4 commercial radio stations launched in Sibu, Sarawak such as Hitz FM 105.1MHz, MY FM 105.9MHz, Era FM Sarawak 96.3MHz and Tea FM 100.7MHz. These radio stations are transmitted from Bukit Lima, covering Sibu town and surrounding areas only like Julau, Bintangor.

Hitz FM 105.1MHz, MY FM 105.9MHz, Era FM Sarawak 96.3MHz and Tea FM 100.7MHz are still available in Sarikei, but moderate radio signal.

Here are my videos of tuning Sibu commercial radio stations (except Cats FM) in Sarikei, Sarawak.

1. Hitz FM 105.1MHz

2. MY FM 105.9MHz

3. Tea FM 100.7MHz

4. Era FM Sarawak 96.3MHz

Receiving distance from Bukit Lima to Sarikei is about 39km.

Based on the videos above, the Bukit Lima transmitted radio stations are moderate in Sarikei. From Sibu to Sri Aman, these radio stations can be only received up to Sarikei, Sarawak, then zero signal beyond Sarikei.
