Last year in July 2023, I had managed to tune Radio Romania International shortwave frequencies in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia while I attended my friend's wedding ceremony.
On 31st August 2024, Malaysia celebrated the 67th Merdeka Day (the National Day of Malaysia), I went back to Teluk Intan again after 6 months from Chinese New Year. Although I did not plan to do radio DXing in Teluk Intan because I had already done it for years, but in conjunction with Merdeka theme, titled Malaysia Madani: Jiwa Merdeka, so I made a special radio DXing theme with the title "Radio DX Malaysia Madani: Jiwa Merdeka".
From 2016 to 2023, I was used to conduct radio DXing in Teluk Intan on FM radio frequencies band, then expanded to MW and SW. For shortwave, I managed to tune the radio stations from China, Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea and Japan. Until August 2024, I had successfully tuned Radio Romania International in Teluk Intan at the first time after several attempts in 2022 and 2023.
In Teluk Intan, I tuned Radio Romania International on SW 15300kHz (Spanish broadcast) and 21550kHz (English broadcast). The signal quality of both frequencies are better than what I tuned in Balakong, Selangor because Teluk Intan is located near to coastal areas where European shortwave radio stations can be tuned there well.
